Terms and Conditions

CRAFT CRUISES TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as payment represents acceptance of these terms and conditions. Craft Cruises aims to make travel easy, rewarding, and fun. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. All program fees, group tours, and group transfers are fully non-refundable once paid unless stated otherwise in writing.

TRAVEL PROTECTION: Craft Cruises recommends that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel protection plans can include coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical, and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay, and more.

RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS: Space and pricing are based on availability and are not guaranteed until deposited. Deposits and payment deadlines vary by the travel provider.

Taxes and fees are subject to change until your trip is complete, as each travel provider requires. Space is not guaranteed for all Craft Cruise class programs until paid in full. All program fees, including base and hourly fees, are non-refundable once paid.

DEPOSITS, TERMS & CONDITIONS: Terms and conditions vary by travel providers. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with each provider's terms at the time of booking before making payment. For all trips with educational components, the program fees are non-refundable.

CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES & REBOOKING: Each travel provider's payment and deposit requirements vary. Familiarize yourself with the payment conditions before making payment. Craft Cruises charges a $100 per person cancellation fee for trips canceled after payment.

This fee is in addition to any penalties charged by each travel provider. Most hotel bookings are secured through Expedia and are often non-refundable. Likewise, program, private tour, and planning fees are non-refundable once paid. In addition, Craft Cruises reserves the right to charge up to $100 per person for changes and re-bookings made to air, hotel, cruise, tour, and class programs once confirmed.

PRICE: Contact us for a custom quote based on current availability. Space is dynamic. You may waitlist if what you desire is not available at the time of inquiry.

Prices can fluctuate. Prices listed are in USD and are per person based on double occupancy unless otherwise specified. All rates, taxes, and fuel surcharges are subject to change without prior notice. Craft Cruises and the travel suppliers we use are not liable for misquotes or errors online or in print. Should rates go up or down, we will send a notification. If taxes change, we will document it on your final payment invoice. Prices for private tours are calculated based on a minimum number of participants. Since the space is contracted and prepaid on a group basis, there are no refunds. We quote the cruise, port taxes, program fees, flights, hotels, tours, transfers, and travel insurance individually. Prices do not include items of a personal nature such as alcoholic beverages, off-ship activities, gratuities, and other onboard services.

INSTRUCTORS & CLASS PROGRAMS: We base our programs on minimum participants. We reserve the right to reduce the number of instructors or replace instructors when events occur beyond our control. The base program fee is non-refundable once space on the trip is confirmed and deposited. Hourly class fees are due at registration and are non-refundable.

SINGLE SHARE PROGRAM: The non-refundable application fee to participate in our single-share program is $50 per participant. The payment of this application fee does not guarantee a suitable match. If anyone cancels for a non-covered insurance reason, the person withdrawing is responsible for paying the single supplement of the person if there is not a new match.

AIR TRANSPORTATION: Craft Cruises can assist with flight arrangements, or you may book your own. If you book directly on the cruise line website, we charge our air planning fee since we are fully responsible for the reservation.

HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS: Craft Cruises selects moderately priced, conveniently located hotels. Whether Craft Cruises books your hotels or you book your own, we require having your pre/post-trip hotels on file at least two weeks before departure. It is solely the responsibility of each passenger to ensure their pre/post-trip hotels match their air travel dates. Please double-check before departing to ensure your air travel dates match your hotel check-in and check-out dates.

TRANSFERS AND SURFACE TRANSPORTATION: Craft Cruises provides transfer services offered by each cruise line in conjunction with their airport/hotel/ship transfer services. We also offer a detailed arrival manifest and alternate transportation options for those who want to share the ride. Craft Cruises is not responsible if your travel plans change and you miss a transfer for any reason. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with all of the transportation options available in the places you are visiting.

GRATUITIES: Pricing does not include tips, gratuities, or crew incentives. The average per person per day cruise line gratuity is around $15 per person per day. It is customary, in most places, to tip baggage handlers, drivers, guides, and housekeepers. Familiarize yourself with proper tipping etiquette before departure.

BEST PRICE GUARANTEE: Craft Cruises offers the best price guarantee. If the cruise line offers a lower promotional cruise fare that applies to your specific sailing and the specific category you selected, your price may be adjusted. Craft Cruises reserves the right not to honor any published price that it determines erroneous due to human or printing errors. If the cruise line deems it necessary to increase the cost of the cruise due to circumstances beyond their control, guests can cancel without penalty rather than accept the increase. This right does not apply to tax increases or fuel surcharges.

FINAL PAYMENTS: Final payments received AFTER the due date will incur a $25 late payment fee (this does not apply to last-minute bookings). After the final payment date, penalties often increase on a sliding scale, so it is your responsibility to ensure your trip is fully insured by this time. Any pre-payment for special tours, theater tickets, or admissions could be non-refundable and is at the sole discretion of each vendor. Refer to your invoice, pricing emails, and each travel provider website for complete details.

CREDIT CARD DECLINES: You are responsible for verifying with your financial institution before making payment to ensure sufficient funds and approval if security measures are in place. Craft Cruises reserves the right to charge a $25 per person per transaction fee for all declined credit card transactions.

PASSPORTS: Passports are required for travel and should be valid beyond six months of our return date. You are responsible for securing proper documentation and immunizations for the countries visited on your cruise or land tour. If you are relying on an exception made by the State Department concerning cruise passengers sailing from and returning to the same US port, do know this can change at any time. You must also know that if you travel outside the country on an exception without a passport and must interrupt your trip due to unforeseen emergencies, you are solely responsible for all additional costs and arrangements needed for re-entry. If you have any questions, please visit the State Department website or call us since it ultimately comes down to what the cruise line requires for each departure.

MEDICAL & BEHAVIORAL ISSUES: We must be pre-advised, in writing, before confirming a trip of any conditions, medical, physical, emotional, or mental, which may require professional attention or special needs during the journey. Disclose this information in advance, or Craft Cruises reserves the right to refuse your participation in the trip without a refund.

The safety and comfort of all our guests are our main objectives. Also, if you are pregnant certain restrictions might apply and vary by travel provider and destination.

In some cases, you can rent wheelchairs, and in other cases, you must provide your own. Most airlines offer this service in airports if requested free of charge. Craft Cruises reserves the right to refuse participation to any participant whose physical, mental, or behavioral condition may affect other participants' health, safety, or enjoyment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Craft Cruises and their representatives act only as agents for participants in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, sightseeing, restaurants, or any other services in connection with the itinerary. They will exercise reasonable care in making such arrangements. Craft Cruises does not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, or delay to person or property because of any acts of war, pandemic, terrorism, or financial default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company, or person rendering any of the services included in our cruises or any of the pre/post or private shore events arranged on behalf of participants. It is your sole responsibility to understand the agreement between you and the actual contractor rendering the services. Craft Cruises, the organizer, accepts no responsibility for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather, or any other cause beyond their control.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO: Craft Cruises reserves the right to use photos or videos for future promotion. If you do not want Craft Cruises to use your image to promote Craft Cruises, then you must advise us in writing before departure. Once you submit your request to opt-out in writing, you will receive an acknowledgment. If you do not notify us in writing or receive an acknowledgment, you agree to these terms and conditions.

COVID-19 NOTICE: It is your responsibility to consult all applicable CDC and WHO travel advisories, warnings, or recommendations relating to travel before making a reservation, before cancellation penalties begin, and before travel begins. Information is dynamic, so check for changing requirements continually throughout your trip as requirements can change until you return home.

If a certain threshold level of COVID-19 is detected, all subsequent travel may be restricted or delayed, including your return home. Health and safety protocols, guest conduct rules, and regional travel restrictions vary by destination and are subject to change without notice due to the dynamic nature of the pandemic.

Due to evolving health protocols, imagery and messaging may not accurately reflect reality and may be subject to change without notice for safety reasons. All terms and conditions are per the travel suppliers used, making it essential to read all information provided thoroughly and ask questions in advance if clarification is needed.
