Canada New England Knitting Cruise (May 2022) ~ Knitting Cruises Description

9-Day Canada New England Knitting Cruise with Tanis Gray
May 12 - May 21, 2022

Cruise the Atlantic Coast from Ft. Lauderdale to New England and Canada with Tanis Gray in late spring. This directional itinerary offers a chance to relax in Florida before embarking in Ft. Lauderdale on an adventure to some of the most beautiful ports along the Northeastern US seaboard and Canada, including Boston, Bar Harbor, Halifax, Sydney, Quebec City, and ending in Montreal. Opt for special fiber-related excursions, including special yarn presentations, dyeing demonstrations and plenty of shopping for unique hand-dyed yarn inspired by colors of this region. Learn new knitting skills, make new knitting friends, see dramatic coastal scenery and simply enjoy the luxury of shipboard living.

This Eastern seaboard cruise is perfect for people who prefer to travel closer to home. When the ship is not in port, Tanis Gray will be teaching some of her favorite knitting technique classes. The onboard knitting program will include the following classes: Roosimine, an Estonian inlay technique similar to intarsia, Mosaic Fingerless Mitts, Fair Isle, Double Knitting, Two-Colored Cables and Latvian Braids. In addition, Tanis is designing an exclusive knitalong project for the group using luxurious yarn from Seven Sister's in Maine .
