5g of main colour yarn left over from homework.

Homework ~ Steeking - Taking the Fear Out of Cutting Your Knitwear
The steeking homework, which will include a chart and written instructions, will be provided closer to the cruise.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
If you are new to Fair Isle:
Fair Isle knitting is generally only 2 colours in 1 row with a very occasional row having 3 colours.
This means that for each stitch it is only ever main colour or contrast colour across your round.
Knitting Belts and long double pointed needles are hard to come by outside of Shetland. If you plan to take this class place your order at least 4-6 weeks before leaving for the cruise for your order to arrive. The belts are handmade by local crafts people and are made to order.
Shetland “style” yarn will not handle the same way as 100% Shetland breed wool. Read labeling information carefully. (Happy to answer questions on this)
