Mykonos is a gorgeous island with many small bays and a pretty coastline. It features many excellent beaches and two stunning lookout points. The main focal point of the town is the harbor and its main square. Not far from town are the Mykonos windmills, which are an iconic feature of this island. South of the windmills is a trendy district known as Little Venice, because its balconied buildings back onto the water. In the center of the island is a reservoir lake that attracts flocks of migrating birds.

Dotted with whitewashed buildings and vibrant bougainvillea this port is a gem surrounded by the sparkling waters of the Aegean Sea. This island is hugely popular so is best visited in the spring and fall when there are fewer visitors and the temperatures are comfortable.

Always pop inside the churches and chapels since most are tiny, peaceful places with interesting architecture and fascinating artifacts. Just outside the main town are superb beaches and interesting rock formations.
