Although Hazel's first love is colorwork and Fair Isle knitting she's well versed in Shetland Lace and is active with the Shetland Lace knitting community. In this brief introduction to lace lecture Hazel will demonstrate some popular lace knitting patterns as well as give students a chance to try their hand at it. Shetland Lace and an overview of its history will be discussed.
