Canada and New England Knitting Cruise (May 2020) ~ Knitting Cruises Description

11-Day Canada New England Knitting Cruise with Judith Durant
May 26 - June 6, 2020

Cruise the Atlantic Coast from Ft. Lauderdale to New England and Canada with Judith Durant in late spring. This directional itinerary offers a chance to relax in Florida before embarking in Ft. Lauderdale on an adventure to some of the most beautiful ports along the Northeastern US seaboard and Canada, including Boston, Portland, Bar Harbor, Halifax, Quebec City, and ending in Montreal. Opt for special fiber-related excursions, including dyeing demonstrations and visiting a working mini mill and farm on Prince Edward Island. Shop for unique hand-dyed yarn at some of the most popular yarn shops in the region. Learn new knitting skills, make new knitting friends, and simply luxuriate in shipboard life.

This Eastern seaboard cruise is perfect for people who prefer to travel closer to home.  When the ship is not in port, Judith Durant will be teaching some of her favorite knitting technique classes.  The onboard knitting program will include the following classes: Increase Decrease, Increase, Decrease KAL Scarf, Bead Up Your Knitting!, Dress Up Your Cables!, and Designing with Cables.  Knitters of varying skill levels will find useful techniques and tips to augment their knitting repertoire.
